My Background

Growing up in Seattle, WA area, just a hop, skip and a jump from the birthplace of pickleball, I was fortunate to have been exposed to this great sport at an early age. Over the past 30+years, I’ve been blessed to have competed with and against some of the top players in the game. I’ve won many medals at a local, regional and national level at the Pro level, including 2 Silver Medals in Singles at Nationals. About 7 years ago, I was honored to sign on as a sponsored player with Onix, whom I represent to this day.

I have a deep respect and passion for the game and I love to help foster and develop enthusiasm in others while helping them achieve their pickleball goals. Most of all, I’m a student of the sport and love to teach and inspire those who want to take their game to the next level.

Our pickleball community is amazing, and I embrace and look forward to teaching people of all ages and walks of life!

“I have taken pickleball lessons from six different pickleball coaches. Erik is by far the best coach I have had. In addition to teaching correct pickleball techniques, he has the ability to watch me play and then helps me correct and improve. He is also excellent at coaching partners, especially teaching how to know whose ball it is and the correct shot to use. My game has improved significantly. I highly recommend him.”
